"Gilmore Girls" alum Matt Czuchry is weighing in on the Team Jess, Team Dean or Team Logan debate.

On Monday's episode of "The Talk," 46-year-old Czuchry, who played Rory's charismatic Yale undergrad boyfriend Logan Huntzberger on the WB/CW show, addressed a TikToker's hot take on why Logan and Jess (played by Milo Ventimiglia) weren't all that great.

"Why don't we talk about the fact that the two options are actually very below average and might be the reason why standards have been on the floor for women for decades now?" @mury1738 said in a 2022 TikTok.

Czuchry, who stars in Fox's "The Resident," came to Logan's defense.

"We shouldn’t be searching for perfection in anything, whether it be in relationships or whatever it may be," Czuchry told hosts Akbar Gbajabiamila, Amanda Kloots and Natalie Morales.

"I think that Logan had his strengths and weaknesses and Jess has his strengths and weaknesses and Dean has strengths and weaknesses like we all do. I think the fun of the show is that you got these characters who are flawed and they have these great pieces," he added.

"And everybody debates who’s best for Rory because they feel different about their strengths and weaknesses that might match up. I think as long as we’re not shooting for perfection, then I’m OK with the take."

Logan and Rory (played by Alexis Bledel) dated in seasons 5-7 of the show, which aired between 2000 and 2007. Czuchry reprised his role in Netflix's 2016 revival "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life," which saw an engaged Logan and Rory, who also had a partner, engage in a full-on affair.

Before Logan broke a bookish Rory out of her shell, Rory dated Dean (Jared Padalecki) in the earlier seasons before moving on to a short-lived relationship with Jess.

Bledel demurred in a 2016 interview with USA TODAY when asked whether she has a favorite among Rory's romantic interests, who all appeared in "A Year in the Life."

"I don't. It is fun to have them all back, because (creator Amy Sherman-Palladino) wrote such great scenes for each one," she said, acknowledging the uncertainty of her character's love life.

Bledel added, "As opposed to her academic life and now professional life, Rory's romantic life is more aimless, more up and down."
